First steps
Give us a call as soon as possible. We will guide you through the immediate next steps.
A funeral’s cost can vary considerably depending on preferences and needs. For example, will you have burial or cremation? Do you need flowers or service sheets provided?
While we can’t give a one size fits all answer, we have created a cost estimator tool which can give you a rough idea of what you can expect. We have packages to suit different budgets and we will always tailor the farewell to your needs.
Absolutely. The place you choose can be very important for the memories you will take away. So, we will support you with whatever feels right for you and your family.
We can offer several venue types ranging in size and layout, so please ask us to help you to find the perfect location.
Embalming may be recommended if there are time delays, or if you would like extended time to be with your loved one before their final farewell. Time together can be either at our purpose built premises, with a room especially dedicated for use by family and friends, or in your own home. Our team will always discuss the options with you, enabling you to make a decision that is right for your circumstance.
You can be cremated in either a casket or a shroud. A shroud is a cloth to wrap the body, which is then placed onto a wooden board or shroud bearer. All materials must be easy to burn. Some crematoriums request that a coffin is used, so it’s worth having a discussion with us as you explore your options.
Yes, the whole casket including the handles are cremated. We ensure that nothing is removed from a casket, unless requested by the family and no caskets are re-used.
No, often people don’t want a ‘fuss’ made about them. However, it is important for families to have some form of a farewell as part of the grieving process. Funerals provide the opportunity to gather together, remember and celebrate the life of someone who was important in their lives.
