Well Bobs, yesterday, we said goodbye to one of the truly good ones, and you will be deeply missed. You, Sis and the nephew have always made us feel so welcomed, and you were always so kind, honest, wise and a real humble man. It is deeply unfair that illness robbed you of the retirement you so deserved after a lifetime of hard work. Yet even through this, you carried yourself with grace. You may no longer walk beside us, but your presence will forever be felt in our hearts and memories. You were just a bloody good bloke. We will miss you dearly, and our Ruby will miss the crumbs that you loved sharing with her. Rest easy now Bob. xxx

Bob's, we will miss your cheeky smile, dry humour and loads of fun we have had over the years. These kids and their friendships and amazing social lives brought us together and we couldn't be happier to have joined in the mayhem. We adore Suzie Q and Benjamin and will always be there for them. Your wonderful, and incredibly loving wife Suzie Q has been your strength and support and we will ensure she always feels the love from across the ditch.
With our heartfelt love at this very sad time, Cec, Marg, Sam, Jackson and families ♥️♥️♥️💙💙💙

My heartfelt condolences to Sue and Ben on this day. Bob will be dearly missed by all those who came to know and care for him. Always loving and supportive of his family, I don't know of a closer family trio, an enduring testament to Bob and Sue. Much love always x

RV! Some of my best memories include you, Suzie Q, Benjamino and Mark. Gosh we had some fun and sooo many laughs. I will miss your big smile, fabulous laugh, bear hugs and our chats which always ended in giggles. You and Sue have raised the most incredible son in Benjamin and I promise to always support him and love him. You are so loved and dearly missed. Love you ♥️

Thinking of you all, particularly Ben and Sue today. I am so sorry we didn't get more time together, Bob. Missed memories, but thankful for and privileged having you as my father-in-law. And thank you for walking me down the aisle. Rest easy.

I met Bob at North Staffs Polytechnic in 1970 we were both in the football team - he was outstanding. We hit it off straight away and became great friends, he was such a nice bloke. We had a great social life after the football game in fact I think the game was an excuse for the drinking afterwards and when Bob met Sue she was a great addition to our social group, we enjoyed many evenings with them both, most of which we can't remember. Such a nice man. Sending all our love to Sue and Ben.

We were both fortunate enough to work for Bob many years ago. He was kind and generous and always cool, calm and collected. He was more than a great boss, he was a friend and we have fond memories of the time we spent together.

Thank you Bob for so much fun and friendship over 40 years. From the beach at New Caledonia where we first met, to the legionary " Painswick Dinners" & latterly our catch up lunches at the Riverhead Pub.
Rest in Peace dear Bob - we will miss your lovely smile
