Around 1995 we met at TVNZ and have been friends ever since. We had so many unforgettable boating days on the Hauraki Gulf and up to Riverhead Pub. Lots of laughs and solving the world's problems, politics was always a hot topic! Our friendship was priceless, I'm going to miss you Buddy.

Still reeling from the loss of one of my oldest friends, David Stewart. He was larger than life. The first person I played music with. He gave me my first bass guitar and changed my life forever. Our KISS lip sync was epic. Too bad there weren’t cell phones back then! In soccer there was no one who was his equal. Although we lost touch for too long, we recently reconnected over our mutual admiration of our soccer skills, and reminisced about the crazy things we did as kids. When I think back on the best times growing up, it was usually with Dave. Rest in peace my dear friend, Beef Stew.

I'm so sorry to hear that your sweet brother, David, passed away. I can remember watching the both of you grow up, making Christmas gifts, and admiring your well decorated bedrooms, especially David's collection of unique wooden soldiers. Although, I didn't get to see him much in later years, since he resided in New Zealand, he will always have a place in my family's heart. My condolences and prayers go out to you and your family. May you soar with the angels in heaven, David.❤️🙏
