Service Details

Linda Ann Simpson (Owens) passed on February 5, 2026, after a period of illness, surrounded by her loving family. Linda lived a life grounded in faith and devotion to her family. Her Christian belief was central to her life and provided comfort and guidance to those around her. She faced her illness with grace, courage, and a strong belief in God's healing, upheld by prayer, love, and the presence of those closest to her. She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Steve; her children, Kathleen, Joanne, David (daughter-in-law Simone), and Christine (son-in-law Bert). She was a cherished grandmother to Brooklyn, Oliver, Nathan, Maddison, and Luke, each of whom brought her great joy and pride. Linda is also remembered with love by her sisters, Marie, Patricia, and Judy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, restored and whole, in the presence of her Saviour. The funeral service to celebrate Linda's life will be held on March 2, 2026 at 11.00am at Windsor Park Baptist Church, 550 East Coast Road, Mairangi Bay, Auckland. A private interment will be held for family members only following the service.
