Psalm 23
Praying…. for God’s comfort & encouragement as only He can
I will miss his unassuming, patient grace, steadfastness, faithfulness & encouragement. Trevor was genuine. One of the most memorable times of evangelism together was during the RWC 2011; the there was the regular Brown Bay evangelism outreaches, but weather the occasion was big or small, Trevor never shied away from proclaiming the biggest, most important message of all (John 3:16).
Will continue to pray

I first met ‘Uncle Trevor’ when I was a teen, that was a very long time ago. There was a gathering at their home and I remember well the calmness he brings into every conversation. Trevor’s thoughtfulness and warm nature was loved by many. I give thanks to the Lord for the numerous lives he has touched and his boldness to share the gospel. What an example he is to us all. We grieve for this loss today and tomorrow there shall be comfort, joy, faith, hope and love.

I first met Trevor in the late 1970s when he was a Baptist minister in Cambridge - a hitchhiker he picked up and gave a ride into town. A brief but important 'chance' meeting as it turned out, a critical step in my eventually (some months later) becoming a Christian believer. Many years later we attended the same church in Hamilton and even briefly flatted together in our bachelor days. Trevor was a very consistent and enthusiastic Christian who never passed an opportunity to share his faith with anyone. And a very caring and generous person who walked almost constantly in other peoples shoes, amazing empathy. I am very sorry to hear of his passing and like countless others have good reason to give thanks for his life. My sincere condolences to Susan and his family.

I will always remember Trevor for his kindness.
I’m so grateful for the way he and Susan opened their home to me when I first came to New Zealand in 2010. The meals shared around their table, the conversations we had, and the friendship he extended to me during those months are memories I continue to cherish.
What stands out most is the interest Trevor took in my life and the encouragement he so freely gave. I had already sensed God’s call to ministry and hoped to attend seminary one day, and I still remember conversations with him about London Theological Seminary. At the time, it was simply a conversation, but it planted a seed that stayed with me, and years later I found myself studying there. I’m thankful that when we caught up again, I was able to tell him how that story had unfolded.
Trevor will be greatly missed, but I am encouraged by the hope we share in Christ. His life was evidence of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, in which we believe, in whom we trust, and for whose return we await.
Trevor, thank you for your kindness, encouragement, and friendship.

Even though Trevor has gone so unexpectedly, and we miss him, his passing is still precious to the Lord, as Trevor has now entered into the presence of the Lord forever.

I still remember when my family moved from South Korea to New Zealand and into the house next door to Trevor’s when I was 13 years old. We spoke very little English and found settling into a new country daunting at times. Trevor, however, made us feel welcome from the very beginning. Every time he saw us, he would give the biggest wave, walk over for a chat, and make us feel like we belonged. No matter how many years passed, that warmth, friendliness, and genuine interest in people only grew.
What stood out most about Trevor was that his faith was not only something he spoke about, but something he lived every day. His love for God was evident in the way he treated others, with kindness, generosity, humility and compassion. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or simply be there when someone needed support.
Trevor was a well-known and deeply loved member of the Browns Bay community. He touched many lives through his friendship, service, and his quiet, consistent way of sharing God’s love with those around him. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel seen, valued and cared for.
The world feels a little less bright without Trevor’s cheerful wave and friendly conversations, but his legacy lives on in the many lives he touched. I am deeply grateful to have known him and to have experienced such a genuine example of Christian love in action. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Trevor. You will be greatly missed.

Our family came to know Trevor Keam over many years through the fellowship at Terry Street Bible Chapel, where he was a treasured and frequent guest speaker. From the pulpit and in conversation alike, his love for the Lord and his warm-hearted care for our assembly were unmistakable. He never came merely to deliver a sermon — he came to encourage us, to turn our eyes afresh to Christ, and to stir us to greater devotion.
What we will remember most is Trevor's heart for the lost. Faithful and tireless, he could be found almost every week in the Auckland CBD, tract in hand, sharing the good news of Jesus with whoever would listen. He carried that burden gently but boldly, and countless people heard the gospel because Trevor would not keep silent.
He has now been called home, and we rejoice even as we grieve, knowing he is with the Saviour he served so well. Our deepest sympathy and prayers are with Susan and all the family.

In Loving memories of Trevor Keam, A faithful man of God! I am so sad when I heard of his sudden loss. They have been such a lovely couple, committed and been so faithful in their ministry. He is gentle, humble, caring and always with his lovely smile. A family man he loves Susan so much. Susan, may God richly bless you and comfort you and mum, all the Davison and the Keam Families. How lucky and blessed he was he did not suffer any pain. He is now sitting face to face with his Lord! Now all that I know is hazy and blurred, but then I will see everything clearly as God sees into my heart right now. Christ will take these dying bodies of ours and change them into glorious bodies like his own. But as for me, my contentment is not in wealth but in seeing you and knowing all is well between us. And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied, for I will see you face to face. But those who die in the Lord will live! Their bodies will rise again! Rest in Peace Trevor

Trevor is a dear friend. We remember his service at Tauranga Reformed Fellowship, which he helped establish and run for a number of years. Trevor's goal was to share the gospel with unbelievers, and encourage Christians. After he and Susan settled in Auckland they still travelled to Tauranga for services on a Sunday. Now Trevor is rejoicing in heaven. May God bless and comfort you Susan.

I met Trevor through his lovely wife Susan, who was a work colleague of mine. Trevor often picked Susan up from the office, and I was able to get to know him through our conversations in the car park. (Our cars almost always were parked next to each other.) Trevor was a gentle and caring man who was always happy to chat: I remember those moments fondly. To Susan and family, you are all in my thoughts.

In Loving Memory of Trevor Keam
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that We say goodbye to our dear neighbour and cherished friend of 23 years, Trevor Keam, who was taken from us far too soon.
Since we first became neighbours back in 2003, Trevor was always so much more than just the man next door. Over more than two decades, we shared countless daily moments across the fence. Through all of life’s ups and downs, he was a constant, reassuring presence, someone who felt less like a neighbor and truly more like family.
We will deeply miss his warm smiles, our casual chats while working in the garden, and the genuine kindness he brought to our neighborhood every single day. Trevor had a rare, gentle spirit and a generous heart that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Though his sudden passing has left a painful void, the beautiful memories we built over 23 years of friendship will remain with us forever. We count ourself incredibly fortunate to have walked alongside him as a friend and neighbour for so long.
Trevor, thank you for your warmth, your unwavering kindness, and for being such a wonderful part of our life. You will be missed more than words can say.
May you rest in eternal peace.

Trevor's smile and kind spirit made everyone feel welcome at church. He quietly lived out his Christian faith through his words and actions. One of things we will remember most about him was his passion for sharing the Gospel whether through a conversation with a friend, or a word of encouragement , he pointed others to God's love and grace. Till we meet again dear friend.
Our thoughts and prayer are with you dear Susan and Family. John 16:22.

God gave me the pleasure of meeting Trevor & the Keam family (Susan & Bev, & Elizabeth perhaps on 1 or 2 different occasion, & her husband not so long ago).
I have known Trevor to be a very genuine man, very faithful friend, & the faith to which God had imparted in hm in eternity past, he was faithful in all parts of his life, right up until the very end, which was not so long ago, & I can definitely say that in his 77 years of life, he had finished the race well, living a very fulfilled life, & I am confident in the fact that he is now w/ his Lord, & his Savior.
In the short time I have come to know of Trevor (& his family), I have deeply enjoyed the conversations/fellowships that we have had together, talking about the church, theology, people in general, committing people in general before the Throne of Grace,& his deep care for people's souls, evangelizing wherever possible, & being fearless in his approach. & all this to say, God gets all the glory, adoration, praise.
I will most certainly miss Trevor in this momentary time. & I am highly optimistic about being reunited w/ Trevor, one day, in Heaven. But until then, my prayer would be that the example that Trevor has left behind for me, that God would continue to use me, as a vessel for his glory. & knowing him, he's up there right now, praying for the Salvation for my parents, & my sister, amongst other people, & I'll be forever grateful.

A Legacy of Transformation.
In order to receive transformation, knowledge, experience and coaching come first. Trevor possessed them all. We are grateful for your example in demonstrating the gospel in action and declaring the gospel with words.
Trevor made a difference by contributing and building community through Evangelism, prayer, Bible, church and more!
I will miss our fellowship at Cecile's Cafe and doing evangelism in Browns Bay together. See you soon my friend.

We met Trevor several years ago when he became good friends with our father. What struck us was his genuine interest in connecting with people. His compassion was clear to see in every interaction. So we were not surprised to learn of his inspiring dedication to helping others. We will miss his big smile and even bigger heart. May he rest in peace. Our prayers are with Susan and the family.

Its been many years since our Tauranga Baptist days, like Sue that I've known Trevor and his family. Singing around his parents piano at welcome bays brings back faithful Christian memories. Catching up with Trevor at many conferences over the years has been great. He has always been an encouragement. Staying with my wife, Trevor and Susan at Jim Dahms place down Thames coast is another fond memory. I'm glad Trevor has fought the good fight and won the race and will be there in glory when it's our turn to go. Blessings Peter Rose.

Trevor was a man whose life bore the unmistakable marks of faith, kindness, humility and service.
Trevor lived a life centred not on recognition, status or personal gain, but on something far deeper, his love for Jesus Christ and his desire to share that hope with others. His passing on 7 June 2026 leaves a deep sadness for Susan, his family, friends, church family and the many people whose lives he touched.
What stands out so clearly from the tributes already shared is the consistency of Trevor’s character. He was remembered as warm, smiling, caring, genuine, loyal and faithful. For many, he was the first person to offer a welcome, a wave, a smile, a ride, a word of encouragement or a helping hand. He had the rare gift of making people feel seen, valued and uplifted.
Trevor’s life reminds us that the greatest legacy is not what we accumulate, but what we give, our time, our love, our faith, our encouragement, and our willingness to serve. He gave these generously.
To Susan, the Keam family, and all who grieve his passing, may there be comfort in knowing that Trevor’s life was deeply valued, his witness was powerful, and his memory will continue to bless those who knew him.
Trevor has fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. He will be missed greatly, but remembered with deep gratitude, affection and honour.

Christians willing to give up their time to actively take the gospel to strangers are rare. Trevor, with the support of Susan, was one of them. He has now graduated to heaven, where he will have much treasure to cast at the feet of his king and saviour, Jesus. I can't wait to join him there, but I need to complete my assignment first. Much love to Susan, family and friends at this time of grief. May you know the peace that surpasses understanding, because of the hope of eternal life found in the sacrifice of Jesus.

As my brother-in-law John doesn’t have any devices, just a land line, I’d like to pass on how much he valued Trevor. He’d known him much longer than I did, and he and his mother attended his wedding to dear Susan, who I’ve known for many years. John was always keen for me to share the latest news about Trevor, and marveled at the tracts they sent out. I admired his dedication to Open Air preaching, and saw him in action at a crowded beach! He was true hearted, whole hearted, loyal and faithful to promoting the gospel of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has run the race, he has kept the faith and now has entered into the joy of the Lord. I know that Susan will comfort herself with that knowledge, as she has that same glorious hope. May she be very conscious of the Lord’s presence upholding her in this time of loss. With much love, Meryl. UK.

Trevor was our first friend at church. When we moved to New Zealand in December 2024 and attended Emmanuel Church for the first time, he was the very first person to warmly welcome our family. From that moment, we felt his sincerity, kindness, and genuine heart.
Almost every Sunday, Trevor would greet us with an enthusiastic wave and a warm smile whenever he saw us. He also offered us rides on several occasions, a simple yet thoughtful gesture that reflected his caring nature.
As our brother in Christ, we take comfort in knowing that he has finished the race God set before him and has now entered into His eternal presence.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
— 2 Timothy 4:7
We praise God for Trevor’s life, for the kindness he shared so freely, and for the blessing he was to our family and to so many others. He will be deeply missed, but his warmth, faith, and friendship will always be remembered.

I help at a Prayer Station on Queen St, AK CBD. Somehow someone turned up with a tract called "Four Things You Need To Know", and a friend wanted to distribute it. So I hunted around, and after several days of searching I discovered this tract originated from the North Shore, AK. So I contacted them and they sent me some. Then we ran out and they sent me more, then ran out again, so they sent more; and so it went on. I would send them money and ask for more. Then a need arose for more tracts in Chinese, so with Trevor and Susan's permission I translated "Four Things You Need To Know" into Chinese, and would print them off myself. This inspired me to try writing my own tract in English and Chinese, and Trevor gave me some advice, including where to go to get it printed. We handed out some of these tracts on Friday night.
We had planned to meet and have coffee, but things got in the way, so I never met Trevor, but I am very grateful for his gracious attitude in regards to sending me tracts and assisting me with getting my own ones printed.

I met Trevor around forty years ago and cherished his friendship over the years.
Two things about Trevor always impressed me. First, his constancy, and secondly, his commitment to Jesus Christ and the gospel.
Regarding his constancy, he was a true friend. He was genuine. I always found Trevor kind and caring. In fact, right up to his final hours in this life he was doing things for others.
Regarding his commitment to the gospel, Trevor was a bold but gracious evangelist. Through his open air outreach Trevor reached hundreds upon hundreds of people.Through his distribution of literature he has reached tens of thousands of people. I like to think that this multitude of people will have known that an evangelist has been in their midst. Heaven shall reveal how many souls have arrived there through the instrumentality of this humble, courageous man.
To Susan and family, I extend my condolences. There shall be a joyous reunion even as Jesus has taught in the gospel of John 14:1-3. This is the hope that Trevor possessed and one that all believers possess.
Death is not the end.
To God be the glory.

I met Trevor in Browns Bay, He was preaching the Good news and coming of Our Lord Jesus with Truth and passion! He inspired me!
It wasn't long before I got to sit in his and Susan's lounge enjoying profound teachings and hymns with those who joined and mainly tasty biscuits and decaf (percs to Susan)!
Above all I will remember Trevor as a warrior of Messiah Jesus, meek in body and speech but oh SO strong in Spirit and in the things of God.
He once told me he had no children and I do recall quoting Paul's words to him:"we do not have many Fathers" because he was in many ways like a spiritual father to me.
Thank you Susan for being his Queen and showing me values I hope I can pass on too.
We are sad but only for a time for we hold to the same belief this man had, the hope of the coming kingdom!

Uncle Trevor is truly one of a kind, I don't have the faintest memory of him with out a smile on his face, the definition of joy and a true producer of good fruits, his work and life was never to build up treasures or recognition on earth, but always to serve the Lord, in which he has now been rewarded for, by his Father in Heaven. You will be missed by many in this world, but there is joy in knowing we rejoice with you again some day. God bless you Uncle Trevor.

Trevor Keam born into this world in 1948. Subsequently became a citizen of Heaven with the hope of eternal life by grace alone, faith alone and Christ alone. His testimony in life: Christ crucified and risen! He knew well that we are pilgrims delighting in all that God gives and takes away for all belongs to Him who is and who was and who is to come! Death comes unexpectedly, yes for Christians too. Yet we know that those alone whom God has sovereignty redeemed go to be with God forever! Death has lost its sting! The grave has no victory! Christ is the Victor! He rose from the dead and all in Christ shall forever be with Him. Therefore in the midst of your distress do as Trevor did. Look to Christ. He receives all who come to Him. One and all: Come to Christ and live and find your comfort in Him. Amen.

Trevor was a man of God who did the work of an evangelist and was a faithful husband and a friend to many.
He had a genuine passion to serve God in the gospel and to share the wonderful message with people of all walks of life.
Over the years he designed and published many different gospel Tracts and distributed them around the world.
Trevor will be sadly missed, but may this precious Bible verse comfort Susan and family and all those who knew him.

I have never met a man like Trevor -
brimming with love, joy, caring, generosity with his time and help. He brings you such joy and positivity and hence a great companion to have around you. You leave him with a feeling of joy and having been so uplifted.
He knew what were the most important things in life and the reasons we are here. God is love and he exemplified. that love to everyone he met.
I will miss him dearly. I know he is now with the Lord. God's first words to Trevor will be, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have run the race. Come, you blessed of the Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world."
Thank you, Trevor. Our loss is heaven's gain.
May Susan feel God's love surrounding her and His embracing arms comforting her.
My condolences to the Keam family.
