Embalming may be recommended if there are time delays, or if you would like extended time to be with your loved one before their final farewell. Time together can be either at our purpose built premises, with a room especially dedicated for use by family and friends, or in your own home. Our team will always discuss the options with you, enabling you to make a decision that is right for your circumstance.

You can be cremated in either a casket or a shroud. A shroud is a cloth to wrap the body, which is then placed onto a wooden board or shroud bearer. All materials must be easy to burn. Some crematoriums request that a coffin is used, so it’s worth having a discussion with us as you explore your options.

Yes, the whole casket including the handles are cremated. We ensure that nothing is removed from a casket, unless requested by the family and no caskets are re-used.
